Remember the last summer
When it was boiling hot.
We couldn't see anyone around
Except the steam from the ground.
Everything looked so wavy,
We're sweating even in the A.C.
This summer is awesome
As if spring were not giving up.
The Earth is flush with green grass
The sky is covered with white grey fluffs.
We are out to enjoy the season basking in the bright sun.
(After a couple of weeks)
The temperature is dropping,
As if someone is turning off the huge hot ball.
Gigantic Cotton flurry spread above us all
Covering the horizon end to end
'Coz snowing seems the trend.
Winter is back!
Summer didn't seem to come!
All the green's turning red again,
As if the Earth were rotating
In the opposite direction.
"What's happening?"
Questions every mind
"Is it any curse
Or the act of humans?
Is it the God who is punishing
Or the end of the Earth?"
No one had an answer
Except a tiny tot.
It is the time which is
Taking us to where we began,
Giving us a chance to make amends,
Of all we have done wrong
to our dear mother earth
Who has bestowed abundant love
Without asking anything in return.
This is the tym for us
To give her back what's hers
And to cherish her for her gifts.
